The 70 minute film by Ms. Anjali Kirtane (Research-ScreenPlay-Direction) covers the golden age of Hindustani music over 100 years. It is a musical docudrama, a running graph of the period, where different aspects of Golden Age are captured.

The film enriches the audience with many important details of the history of Hindustani Classical Music, such as how khayal evolved from Dhrupad, how various Gharanas of Music came into existence and how thumari bloomed into kothas.

The screening and discussions were enjoyed by film lovers from Pune and around, including the members of PIC.
